Surabaya is the capital of East Java province. Known as the second large city in Indonesia after Jakarta and the city of “heroes” due to its prominent role, which took place in November 1945, it is now growing much more a metropolitan outlook. With 4 millions inhabitants of which many of them are blue collar people, it has achieved several national and international rewards such as one of the best city in the world of habitation. Mountains are among East Java’s principal attractions and some of the more outstanding include the 3,676 meters active cone of Mt. Semeru, Java’s highest peak, the famous sand sea and steaming crater of Mt. Bromo, the sulfurous summit of Welirang, and the beautiful crater lakes of Ijen and Kelud.

Upon arrival at Juanda airport of Surabaya, meeting service and direct drive for 3 hours to Sukapura or Tosari for accommodation.
DAY 02: BROMO – SURABAYA – OUT (B,L)
Early morning drive by a jeep to Cemoro Lawang village and Mount Penanjakan about 2770 m where you can admire the beautiful sunrise and unique view. After sunrise you continue ride on a horse back to Mt. Bromo and pass the spectacular “sea of sand”, and finally climbing 245 staircases to reach the rim of crater. After enjoying the lovely sunrise and view of Mount Bromo, retun to hotel for having breakfast. Then transfer to Surabaya Airport for flight to your next destination.
